Garden Grill Breakfast – Chip ‘n Dales Harvest Feast Review

If you’re planning a trip to Epcot, you might be wondering about the Garden Grill breakfast. Trust me, you’re in for a treat.

No, it doesn’t have princesses, but Epcot’s Garden Grill breakfast has something else no other character breakfast can claim – a revolving restaurant.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining there several times, and it’s a must-do in my book. Not only do you get a scrumptious meal, but you also get to meet some of Disney’s most iconic characters.

And let me tell you, as someone whose favorite Disney characters are Chip and Dale, this breakfast is a dream come true! So, is Garden Grill breakfast worth the hype? Keep reading to find out!

Key Takeaways:

  • Location: Garden Grill is located in Epcot at The Land Pavilion with Soarin’ and Living With The Land
  • Characters: Chip ‘n Dale, Mickey and Pluto
  • Price: As of Oct 2023, children 3-9: $30, adults: $47, plus tax & gratuity
  • Breakfast menu: Served family-style: cinnamon loaf, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheesy potatoes, flank steak and fresh fruit
  • My take: As this is the only place to eat with Chip ‘n’ Dale, it’s a must-do for anyone who likes these critters. I do like the breakfast food, but it is quite pricey for what you get.

Garden Grill breakfast location

Situated in Epcot’s Future World, The Garden Grill restaurant is part of The Land Pavilion.

It joins two rides, Soarin’ Around the World and Living with the Land, as well as an indoor food court, Sunshine Seasons.

The Garden Grill is located on the top floor of the pavilion and rotates 360 degrees (in an hour). You can enjoy scenes from the Living with the Land exhibit and ride as you happily feast on breakfast while meeting your favorite Disney characters.

Getting here

Arrive at Epcot by bus, skyliner, boat, monorail or car! It’s the ONLY Disney park served by all forms of transportation.

Once inside Epcot’s main gate, proceed past Spaceship Earth and take a right turn toward The Land.

Coming from the Friendship Boats? Continue straight through World Showcase past the United Kingdom and Canada and turn left towards Future World.

The Land Pavilion is on your left once in Future World.

Garden Grill breakfast characters

Four Disney characters sign autographs and take pictures: Chip and Dale, Mickey Mouse and Pluto. In fact, you will see Mickey in his farmer overalls as he plants and tends to his crops in The Land.

If you have a Chip ‘n Dale fan in your party (like me!), you will love their Harvest Feast. Besides Garden Grove (located in the Swan resort), it’s the only character meal they attend.

Garden Grill breakfast menu

Served family-style, you never have to leave your table and be concerned you will miss a character interaction. Food is served in hot skillets proportioned to the number of people in your party.

Seconds, or even thirds, are readily available.

We could hardly finish our skillet for two!  I blame the hot, gooey cinnamon buns.

Breakfast starts with a beverage including Disney’s passion fruit, orange and guava juice. This stuff is addicting. Not too sweet, not too sour.

Next, come the fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls. Our fruit was fresh and included pineapple, melon, strawberries, and grapes. The cinnamon roll was hot out of the oven dripping with white icing. This is definitely sweet!

Try not to fill up on the cinnamon roll because the real food comes next.

Your skillet includes:

  • bacon
  • sausage links
  • scrambled eggs
  • tater tots
  • Mickey waffles with a chocolate hazelnut dipping sauce

If you have been to the ‘Ohana character breakfast at the Polynesian, you’ll find the food here pretty similar. Nothing really stands out, yet it’s all delicious and filling.  Truthfully, it’s breakfast and not that difficult.

Plus, you enjoy a neat venue with a rotating restaurant and Chip ‘n Dale.

Garden Grill reservations

I have not had a problem making a Disney character meal reservation here whether that be for breakfast or lunch. However, I plan our days and character meals 4-6 months in advance.

All Disney dining reservations open 180 days in advance.

Keep checking for openings if you can’t get your desired date or time at first.

Reservations often open up the week before as people are changing their plans and need to cancel. A ten-dollar deposit allows you to secure a reservation. If you’re a no-show and don’t properly cancel, expect to be charged this deposit.

Remember, a valid Epcot park ticket for that day is required to access The Garden Grill for either breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Garden Grill breakfast costs 2023 and hours

If you don’t have the Disney Dining plan (which returns January 9, 2024), breakfast will cost around the following:

  • adults $47
  • children (3-9) $30

Prices do not include tax and gratuity.

One table credit is required for the Dining Plan.

Hours:

  • Breakfast 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Lunch 11:30 AM – 3:40 PM
  • Dinner 3:45 PM – 8:00 PM
