Hurry! Only a few more weeks for this tasty Magic Kingdom treat!
Looking to get your hands on one of Magic Kingdom’s newest treats?
Well, you need to hurry, because when the clock strikes March 31st, we unfortunately have to say goodbye to Tiana’s Famous Beignets.
These treats were whipped up for Magic Kingdom’s “Celebrate Soulfully” event, which honored Black History Month in February at Walt Disney World. The star of the show? Tiana’s Famous Beignets, served up at the Golden Oak Outpost in Frontierland.
Inspired by our beloved Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog,” these treats were supposed to be a limited-time offering, but guess what? They’re stuck around for another month due to popular demand!
The Outpost, positioned near the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, has folks lining up for a taste of these beignets, alongside other goodies like loaded chicken strips and chili cheese fries. Priced at $6.99, the beignets come with a strawberry sauce and a generous dusting of powdered sugar.
Beignets are my go-to snack at Disney World, so when my daughter and I went in February, they were first on my snack list.
While I am practically an expert on the Mickey beignets at Scat Cats, these were different! First, instead of the usual Mickey-shaped beignet, these were more like little pillows.
Plus, these were cooked more – making them crunchy to a point. I did love the strawberry sauce that accompanied them. Usually, I’m just a plain beignet person myself.
Want to try these yourself? Head over to Magic Kingdom before they are gone. Who knows, maybe they return once Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens this summer – one can hope for more beignets throughout Disney World!
Eat up and enjoy!
