Embark on a journey that traces the evolution of human communication from the dawn of time to the future. As you ascend inside the iconic geodesic sphere, scenes from history reveal how advancements in communication have shaped society.

From the creation of the alphabet to the invention of the printing press, each tableau comes to life with stunning audio-animatronics. The ride culminates with a chance to design your future world through an interactive touch screen, followed by a slow descent under a starry sky.

This ride not only captivates with its educational content but also with its serene and inspirational ending, making it a profound start or finish to any visit at EPCOT.

Test Track presents a thrilling opportunity to design and test a digital vehicle. This ride simulates the rigorous testing procedures that automobiles undergo in their development.

Guests can create their own cars and then board a “SIM Car” to see how their designs hold up against challenges like sharp turns, steep climbs, and high speeds that reach up to 65 miles per hour.

The highlight is the final high-speed lap on the outdoor track—the fastest Disney attraction in existence. It’s a dynamic blend of creativity, technology, and speed, offering both educational insights into vehicle safety and a heart-pounding experience.

This is one of Disney World’s 4 single-rider lines, however, you do not get to design your test vehicle if you choose this line.

Frozen Ever After takes guests through the whimsical world of Arendelle during the Winter Festival. Board a Nordic boat and float through scenes featuring Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and other beloved characters as they sing popular songs from the film.

The ride’s advanced audio-animatronics bring the characters to life with remarkable detail. Magical moments like Elsa singing “Let It Go” as your boat glides backwards down a brief drop make this attraction a captivating experience.

It’s not just a ride; it’s an immersion into the much-loved “Frozen” story, perfect for fans of all ages.

If your child can watch Frozen over and over, they’ll love this ride.

Soarin’ Around the World elevates guests on an exhilarating flight experience over some of the Earth’s most famous landmarks. Mounted on a hang glider-style seat with your feet dangling, you’ll swoop over the Great Wall of China, the Sydney Harbour, and more, enhanced by stunning 4K IMAX projections.

The ride’s immersive effects include scents and breezes that correspond with the visuals, like the smell of grass while flying over the African savannah. This seamless blend of technology and artistry offers a unique perspective on the world, making it an unforgettable aerial adventure.

NOTE: Sometimes, they offer Soarin’ Over California. While this was the original ride at Disneyland CA, I prefer the around the world experience.

5. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

This recent addition to the France Pavilion shrinks riders to the size of a rat for a whimsical dash through Gusteau’s restaurant. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure combines 3D projections and physical sets to create a dynamic environment that mimics the chaos of a kitchen from a rodent’s perspective.

The trackless ride system adds an unpredictable element of fun, making each ride slightly different. It’s a charming family attraction that captures the spirit of Paris and the essence of Disney magic, offering an engaging story and plenty of laughs.

It’s too bad Disney World doesn’t offer this ride as a single-rider line as its counterpart in Disneyland Paris does. Plus, there’s a restaurant attached to the one in France – we can hope they eventually put one in here, too, but I don’t believe that’s in the plans.

Living with the Land offers a serene ride through various ecological zones and a working greenhouse. This educational ride highlights sustainable agriculture practices and the integration of aquaponics, hydroponics, and aeroponics into farming.

It provides a unique insight into the future of food production, emphasizing conservation and resource efficiency. The behind-the-scenes view of how Disney grows produce for its restaurants is not only enlightening but also inspiring, showcasing what practical, sustainable farming can look like.

Yes, it’s a slow ride that doesn’t pack all the fun as others in the park, but if you are interested in conservation efforts, you need to see this. Plus, there is a cool holiday overlay during the Christmas season.

Those dining at Garden Grill with Chip and Dale get a view into the ride as the restaurant revolves.

The Candlelight Processional is a beloved holiday tradition at EPCOT, featuring a celebrity narrator, a 50-piece orchestra, and a mass choir.

This event retells the biblical tale of Christmas with live music and storytelling, creating a deeply moving experience. Held in the America Gardens Theatre, this performance draws guests into a reflective celebration of the season, highlighted by stirring renditions of classic Christmas songs.

If you want to sit during the performance with a great view, this is an extra-ticketed event. However, those passing by the American Pavilion can enjoy the music and singing as well.
